Youngjun Chang

Creative Technologist & Immersive Experience Maker

Youngjun Chang is a creative technologist based in London. He managed technical planning and media server building to produce digital theme parks, DDP Seoul Light media facade and multiple spaces across galleries and national R&D projects. He also directed the 100m media panorama and immersive exhibition for the Arab festival at COEX, the culture/retail hub in Seoul. With a broad understanding of system integration for projection mapping and immersive art, Chang has produced diverse outcomes collaborating with national institutions and commercial enterprises.

 

His digital artworks have been presented at the Tate Exchange, Chicago, and Berlin, collaborating with a variety of international artists. He has used his expertise to contribute in the education sector, organising lectures and workshops across universities including Wimbledon College of Art, Central Saint Martins, Creative Computing Institute, K-arts University, and Ewha University. He builds on the relationship between architectural stories and digital technologies to reinvent the mixed-reality experience.
